The KSUM Open 2013 Organizing Committee invites all interested individuals to submit abstracts for Oral and Poster Presentations through which the most updated research works and interesting cases around the world can be shared. Abstract submissions should be made through the online abstract submission system at (online submission). The deadline for abstracts submission is 24:00, March 31, 2013 in Korean Time.
- All abstracts must be submitted through the Congress website (online submission).
- Please sign up for the website, then click the ‘Abstract Submission’ button after you log in.
- After reading through the guidelines, please click the ‘Go to Online Submission’ button to submit your abstract.
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words in length.
- Tables and figures are not permitted.
- Abstracts will be classified into four categories (Oral / Poster / Case Report (Oral) / Case Report (Poster)) according to the type of presentation; the presenting author will be asked to select one of the above four categories when submitting an abstract.
- Please sign up for the website, then click the ‘Abstract Submission’ button after you log in.
- After reading through the guidelines, please click the ‘Go to Online Submission’ button to submit your abstract.

The online submission of abstracts under the Case Report category is available on the KSUM Open 2013 abstract submission page.
1. It is processed in the same way as other types of abstract submissions outlined in the above guidelines.
2. At the ‘Abstract Detail’ page, please select ‘Case Report (Oral)’ or ‘Case Report (Poster)’ according to the type of your case
report presentation.
3. For the ‘Case Report’ category, the author is required to input the whole abstract text in one box, NOT in separate parts
(Purpose / Materials and Methods / Results / Conclusion) like other types of abstracts.
4. Review and confirm your abstract.
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit.
- Abstracts should be typed in English.
- Submitter is responsible for typing errors.
- For submitters who choose to submit abstract in Oral presenting type, you will be required to input the text in separate
parts (Purpose / Materials and Methods / Results / Conclusion) and when you submit your abstract online, it will be automatically
edited according to a designated format. Submitters who choose to submit abstract in Poster presenting type will be required to
input the who abstract text in one box, NOT in separate parts.
- An acknowledgement of the receipt of the abstract will be automatically sent to the presenting author by e-mail upon the online
submission.
- Abstracts may be modified until the abstracts submission deadline, 24:00, March 31, 2013 in Korean Time.
- The acceptance of abstracts will be notified by e-mail to the presenting author. The information can also be found on ‘My Page’
of the Congress website.
- Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are required to register for KSUM Open 2013. (Go to Register Now : online registration)
